Have you heard of
Cyber Safety Day?
 

Necessities for Children, a Florida 501c3nonprofit, hosts an annual age-appropriate event to provide elementary kids in the community with online safety education. This is a joint effort of businesses and community leaders to ensure public elementary children receive skills to become responsible digital citizens with Cyber Safety Adventures, funded through sponsorships and donations.

 

Cyber Safety Day aligns with International Safer Internet Day, an education and awareness -raising effort, celebrated in over 100 countries in coordination with National PTA organization.

Who is it for?

All local South FL public & charter elementary schools are highly encouraged to register!

Students get:

  • Increase their awareness of online risks and how to avoid them.

  • Help them develop critical thinking skills they can apply to all areas of their lives.

  • Prepare them for success in an increasingly digital world.

  • “I’m a CyberSafe Kid” poster
