About Us
Necessities for Children is a 501c nonprofit that was established in 2015, with our work beginning in Kenya and focusing on serving youth in the USA (based out of MO and FL); with scaled growth globally as funding permits. We've worked with various special projects impacting disadvantaged youth, and sought to find the gap where children are not being served adequately. By providing computer science and mobile tech education programs to low-income youth, we provide the opportunity to gain essential and critical skills for success in their future career.
We believe that all children, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic background have an opportunity to learn, succeed, and thrive.
Our Mission
Necessities For Children's main mission is to provide support and intervention for underserved and low-income youth.
Our Vision
We envision a world where no child has to live in poverty and has the skills necessary to compete for well-paying careers and jobs and where poverty can be eliminated.
