FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (CBS12) — “Who knows what cyber safety is?” Ms. Jalezah Shoats asks her 3rd graders at the non-profit private school Madeline Hamos Academy.
Over 2,000 youth received a lesson in Cyber Safety from Grade 3 teachers in Palm Beach County School District, Broward County Public Schools, and Miami-Dade County Public Schools with an Educator Kit sent to them by the Center for Cyber Safety and Education.

Together with Necessities for Children, Dawn Kristy, JD, Ciera Lovitt, Lorraine Brennan O'Neil, Gordon O’Neil, Susan Rakes and team, Commissioner Dale V C Holness, sponsors Walmart, Awareness Tech, South Florida Tech Hub 🌴, The School District of Palm Beach County, many supportors and individual donors, youth received very relevant & applicable education on how to be safe online.
Media attended to capture lessons in action at Jack & Jill Center, the media school and a community partner. Special thanks to Andrew Lofholm and team for doing a fabulous job in spotlighting the importance of Cyber Safety education to our youth.
