About the event
This is a series of 8 x 1 hour classes, on Tuesday and Thursday at 4pm EST, starting on June 22, 2021 for a period of four weeks (ending July 15, 2021). Sessions will be recorded (not prerecorded) for access to participants unable to attend each class (one hour in length per class).
After the lessons students should have the following skills, including understanding their digital footprint, levels of the internet and how to be safe online. They will develop critical thinking skills allowing them to understand the importance of password creation and MFA. They will learn about social media etiquette and digital citizenship, understand privacy settings and targeted advertising.
NOTE: The $40 purchase of one program, will register you for ALL the sessions. You do not need to register for each individual date. If you are unable to cover the cost due to financial constraints, reach out to us and we'll do our best to include your child(ren).
